Technical training and respect for the client
In all our organizations we have powerful inducement programs which turn out to be indispensable to help us in the guidance of more than one thousand professionals joined every year. We explain who we are, what motivates us, what we aim to do, how and what we work for. We also give training in our ethic values and principles by making use of the Code of Ethics and Conduct that we all share. This inducement goes with the training in its context; it is to say that they are also in contact with our clients for some months.
We offer our co-workers both “technical” training as well as "human" skills training. They are also offered the possibility to grow up in the organization, develop their career and leadership programs for all our executives.
In the same way, the Foundation looks after the responsible treatment of its clients by applying always the client protection principles as those promoted by Smart Campaign. We train our executives who are experts on microfinance with the purpose that they will transmit the duties and rights of the clients when they contract a product with our institutions.
Remuneration policy based on these principles
The compensation model is based on three pillars: fixed remuneration, variable remuneration and non monetary compensation (personal benefits). Our remuneration policy aims to achieve the high performance level of every employee, to encourage our employees to take decisions, their personal and professional development, and so, their identification and involvement in our common plan.
In order to achieve these objectives our remuneration policy is based on the following principles: paying according to the post responsibility and the progress made by every employee; rewarding their performance, looking after equity and promoting differentiation and merit recognition. With this aim in mind, in the Foundation we use the variable remuneration as an essential element in the most part of our employees’ salary scheme. We rely on tools which make easier the quality and objectivity of the process and we also include different and attractive salary elements.
