The BBVAMF and Monterrey TEC will jointly train office managers

The BBVA Microfinance Foundation Group (BBVAMFG) and the Mexican university Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (TEC) signed an agreement to certify a Training Program that would be provided to 600 office managers and coordinators of the Group.

The program’s objective is to strengthen management capacities of teams, risks, sustainability, as well as promoting the proprietary methodology of the BBVAMF: Productive Finance. This methodology places the entrepreneurs served by the Foundation in the heart of its activity, through an integrated offering of financial products and services, and its backing over time, to help them progress.

TEC is one of the Latin American universities with a wider recognition and academic prestige, specializing in both business and technological innovation. Furthermore, it is considered as the seventh best school in the region and is included in the 5 QS Stars list.

Thanks to this initiative, the BBVAMF intends to capacitate the mentioned collective of supervisors working for the six microfinance entities in five Latin American countries that make up the Group. Currently, the Foundation turns 10 years old, creating opportunities for vulnerable people, expanding and facilitating their access to financial services.
