In the roundtable organized by BBVA Microfinance Foundation, entitled “Exceptional women: the value of an opportunity” under H.M. the Queen’s chairmanship, six women were given the floor to share their experiences in overcoming obstacles and being successful in their respective fields, which are traditionally masculine. Artist Lita Cabellut, a commander of the Air Force, a national rugby team player, a gas fitter and businesswoman, a science degree undergraduate and a truck driver and entrepreneur served by the Foundation were the central figures of the gathering. All have narrated their inspiring stories and have concurred that through effort and opportunities, everything can be achieved, regardless of one’s gender.
