Microserfin opens a new branch office in Sabanitas Colón

Microserfin has opened a new branch office in Sabanitas Colón to extend its support to low-income entrepreneurs and their families in Panama, by offering products and services tailored to their needs, and creating opportunities for sustainable and inclusive social development through Productive Finance.

We bring financial services directly to our customers’ place of work, providing them with opportunities for development and generating wealth as a step towards eradicating poverty in Panama”, said Luis Germán Linares, general manager of Microserfin.

The new branch office is located in the municipality’s main street, at Beraz Plaza, no. 7, and is open for business Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to midday. The bank plans to open new branches nationwide, reinforcing its pledge to support growth and employment opportunities and to contribute to the progress of micro-entrepreneurs in Panama.

Microserfin currently serves over 15,000 entrepreneurs, and has delivered loans for a value of 24,092,465 dollars for the development of productive activities, with an average loan amount of 1,500 dollars.

The inaugural event for the branch office was attended by representatives from the public sector, the mayor of the province of Colón, members of the Microserfin board of directors, and executives and customers of the bank, among others.
