Who’s who in the ‘SDGs and the role of financial inclusion” session

The BBVA Microfinance Foundation and the Permanent Missions of Spain and Colombia to the United Nations, together with UN Women, host the ‘Sustainable Development Goals and the role of financial inclusion: Women & Innovation’ session on March 5th, to be held at the UN Headquarters in New York. The event, also known under the hashtag #Microfinance4SDGs, will address the challenges faced by financial inclusion to reduce poverty and meet the SDGs, giving a special focus on women and innovation.

The session will feature high-profile participants from the United Nations, delegates from the Spanish and Colombian Missions and representatives from the BBVAMF, Microsoft Philanthropies and the Inter-American Development Bank. Jessica Hernández, an entrepreneur from our Colombian MFI (Bancamía) will also share her experiences through a live interview.
