The main players in international development gathered in the United Nations Headquarters last March 5th in a special session hosted by the BBVA Microfinance Foundation, together with the Permanent Missions of Spain and Colombia, and UN Women. The session focused on the Sustainable Development goals and Financial Inclusion, placing a spotlight on Women and Innovation. Jessica Hernández, a female entrepreneur from the BBVAMF’s Colombian MFI (Bancamía) has become the voice of the million strong women served by the Foundation in Latin America.
