As a part of its Christmas celebrations, the Dominican institution of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation organized a gathering with the entrepreneurs who were winners and contenders in the Premic 2018 awards.
The executive president of Banco Adopem, Mercedes Canalda, addressed the entrepreneurs in micro, small and medium-sized businesses, acknowledging their entrepreneurial spirit and their enthusiasm to pursue success. These are values they share with over 2 million entrepreneurs who are served by the BBVA Microfinance Foundation, the group to which Banco Adopem belongs, in 5 countries across Latin America.
“This event aims to celebrate the journey you have all made over an entire year, during which the results of your hard work have had a ripple effect on your whole family, your businesses and your community”, Canalda said during her speech.
At the gathering, the institution gave all attending entrepreneurs certificates of recognition and Christmas baskets. Many of them have recently been awarded at Premic 2018, an initiative that acknowledges outstanding micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, recognizing those that are making a positive impact on their communities.
