Fondo Esperanza and Corporación de Desarrollo Social del Sector Rural (Codesser) have signed an agreement to support the development of vulnerable entrepreneurs and their local communities in sectors of the country where both organizations are present.

The collaboration agreement includes the organization of informative meetings to teach entrepreneurs about the resources available for the development of their businesses, and support and assessment with business plans and applying for projects, among other subjects.

The general manager of Fondo Esperanza, Juan Cristóbal Romero, said that this alliance “is a perfect opportunity to open up opportunities for our entrepreneurs interested in applying for government and local funds”. José Miguel Stegmeier, chairman of Codesser, said this agreement reinforces the social role of the institution he runs.

In particular, the agreement will benefit the entrepreneurs in the cities of Antofagasta, Coquimbo, Melipilla, Viña del Mar, Linares, Chillán, Los Ángeles, Victoria, Valdivia, Osorno and the surrounding communities.
