The 10th Hispanic-Portuguese Meeting of Foundations, themed “Foundations and SDG: Synergies and opportunities in the face of common challenges” is held in Mérida (Spain), on the 20th and the 21st of February.
The program starts on the 20th, with the 2030 Agenda High Commissioner, Cristina Gallach‘s intervention.
On the 21st, BBVA Microfinance Foundation’s director for Technology & Data, Joao Costa, participates in a panel “Ending poverty, zero hunger, health and well-being, gender equality and reduction of inequalities”, to discuss microfinance’s role in development and SDG.
This panel will also host Acción contra el Hambre, Ayuda en Acción and Tomillo Foundation. Alejandro Hernández of Maimona Foundation moderates.
This gathering is organized by the Spanish Association of Foundations, the Portuguese Center for Foundations, the Yuste European and Iberoamerican Academic Foundation, the Eugenio de Almeida Foundation, the Maimona Foundation and the Jesús Usón Minimal Invasion Surgery Center.
