HM the Queen visits a female entrepreneur served by the BBVAMF’s dominican MFI

HM the Queen visits Diana Céspedes, the female dominican entrepreneur who she met in Madrid, during the 10th Anniversary celebration of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation. Diana is an organic banana grower (guineo) and is providing for her family thanks to this livelihood.

Her Majesty will stop by Diana’s organic farm and witness the harvesting process. She will also meet other female banana growers, members of the La Esperanza Women’s Association who manufacture candies and other delicacies made from bananas.

The Queen’s visit is conducted within Her Majesty’s official trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti, organized by the Spanish Cooperation Agency, AECID.
