The BBVAMF’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, awarded for his educational work

The Boulder Institute of Microfinance bestows an award to the BBVA Microfinance Foundation’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Claudio González-Vega, to acknowledge his “20 years of commitment, dedicating his vision, knowledge and experience to benefit students within the Boulder MFT programs concerning development finance.”

The Costa Rican professor is internationally known as one of the respected authorities in development and finances. He has done research in microfinance for more than three decades and has authored numerous books and papers about economic development, poverty, international trade, rural finances and microfinance. He is the Chairman of the BBVAMF’s Board of Trustees since 2015.
