BBVAMF will participate in the “ENPRENDIA” forum to reinforce its commitment to applying best practices towards women empowerment

The BBVA Microfinance Foundation (BBVAMF) will participate in the “ENhancing female entrePREneurship in iNDIA: ENPRENDIA” forum, that will gather representatives of European and Indian universities on 12 and 13 of September at the Santiago de Compostela University, to share experiences and best practices that promote entrepreneurship among women and further gender equality. 

Laura Fernández Lord, head of Women’s Empowerment at BBVAMF, intervenes in the panel ’Financial Inclusion: Empowerment of Women’, to talk about the work of the Foundation, which serves 1.2 million women in Latin America, who constitute 60% of the entrepreneurs it supports.

ENPRENDIA is an initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, aimed at advancing the entrepreneurial culture among females in India while promoting gender equality and equity as a tool to close the gender gap.
