The GWCxExecutive Edition is a meeting point for companies and professionals who develop gamification mindset, where gaming mechanics are used to transform businesses and the society.
The BBVA Microfinance Foundation takes part in the GWC conference’s latest edition organized under the slogan “El día que cambiará las reglas del juego” (“The day the rules of the game will change”). Fabián Goldberg, Head of Campus Microfinanzas in the BBVAMF Group, and Verónica Dos Santos from the Human Resources Department, present Simón: liderazgo y gestión de equipos (Simón: leadership and team management), a unique and interactive approach for middle managers to develop high performance teams.
Through an innovative app, a virtual character named “Amigotchi” poses challenges and situations to professionals, who, while overcoming them, acquire useful knowledge for their daily work in the BBVAMF entities in charge of supporting vulnerable entrepreneurs. This project has been chosen as one of the “10 most innovative social initiatives of 2016”, awarded by CAF and Compromiso Empresarial magazine, after considering how the project combines technology and social impact. It also received the Capital Humano a la Gestión de Recursos Humanos awards’ 21st edition, under the Innovation Strategy and Digital Transformation category.
The GWC event, with a masterclass format, will gather seven leaders who will exclusively share seven projects that seek to improve businesses and the society through games.
