Banco ADOPEM’s “Outstanding Employee Awards Ceremony 2016” took place this month. This event recognized the work of 145 of the bank’s employees and 25 of its collaborators with up to 20 years’ service. It also recognized the performance of eight branches that reached their targets for the year.
“This event marks the start of the new year with major challenges and strong institutional and personal commitments, so we need to gather our strength in order to achieve our work goals at the highest possible level”, said Mercedes Canalda, executive president of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation bank in the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican business leader Pepín Corripio, the owner of one of the country’s largest business groups, gave a talk to the more than 1,300 Banco Adopem employees present, in which he encouraged them to work with the utmost dedication, responsibility and ethics to achieve both their specific and overall goals.
