The BBVA Microfinance Foundation takes part in the 2017 OECD DevCom Annual Meeting to be held at the OECD Headquarters. This year’s edition gathers more than 60 Communications experts from various international organizations, governments, foundations, NGOs and companies. The aim is to share ideas and good practices to increase society’s implication to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

This year’s gathering is celebrated under the slogan, “Listening, Learning & Linking Up: Communicating in the SDG era”, and includes the panel ‘Citizens and the SDGS: Digital Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean’, conceived to address the debate about new digital forms of communication with citizens so they could adhere to the SDG. Entrepreneurs and the youth are concretely targeted, as well as the main challenges in the region.

The BBVAMF Director for Communications and External Relations, participates in this panel with a lecture entitled “Audiovisual communications & financial inclusion for the sustainable development of vulnerable entrepreneurs”.
