BBVA Microfinance Foundation and its MFI, Bancamía, participate in Foromic, “Reinventing inclusion”

BBVA Microfinance Foundation and Bancamía, its Colombian MFI, participate in Foromic. Organized by the Interamerican Development Bank and the Government of Colombia, it stands as Latin America’s main event in financial inclusion.

Under the banner “Reinventing inclusion”, innovation, driven by upcoming technology and disruptive business models, will be one of the topics to be discussed, as it transforms the concept of financial inclusion, entrepreneurship and developing new abilities.

On the 29^th of October, Miguel Ángel Charria, executive president for Bancamía, will participate in the panel “Reducing barriers and costs of financial services”, included in the block entitled Finance in evolution.

On the 31st October, under the same block, María José Jordá, director for Digital & Customer Experience Area in the BBVA Microfinance Foudnation, will present the Foundation’s project in technological innovation aimed to transform financial inclusion.
