Javier M. Flores, Chief Executive Officer of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation, today met Ambassador Javier Paulinich, permanent secretary of the Economic System for Latin America & the Caribbean (SELA), to talk about working areas of common interest.
The meeting took place at the Foundation’s headquarters in Madrid and focused on the region’s economic development. Areas covered included SELA’s working program for micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSMEs), the role of financial inclusion and financial education, as well as the importance of measurement in the decision-making processes of institutions that are working towards economic and social development.
