BBVA Microfinance Foundation (BBVAMF) presents the 2018 edition of its Social Performance Report “Measuring what really matters” in the Dominican Republic.
Banco Adopem, the Dominican institution of BBVAMF, served more than 394,000 entrepreneurs in 2018, where 77% of them work in the retail sector. 87% of the new clients that joined last year are living under vulnerable conditions.
BBVAMF is present in five Latin American countries and is a microfinance sector reference in terms of assessment methodology based on quantitative and qualitative tools that analyze the progress of more than 2 million vulnerable entrepreneurs it serves.
