Jordi Roca visits dominican entrepreneurs served by BBVAMF

Internationally renowned chef Jordi Roca, from El Celler de Can Roca, travels to the Dominican Republic to witness how Banco Adopem supports the projects of almost 400,000 microentrepreneurs, as well as their daily struggles.

On May 20th, he will visit a cacao producer and a cook who makes sweets and cocoa wine. Later in the day, the youngest of the Roca brothers will give a lecture entitled Hablemos de gastronomia: “Un día en El Celler de Can Roca”. (Let’s talk about gastronomy: “A day at El Celler de Can Roca“)

On the 21st, he will meet with Diana Céspedes, an organic banana farmer who welcomed the Queen a year ago. Afterwards, he will visit another female entrepreneur who sells home made sweets.

The Roca brothers are goodwill ambassadors for United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
