Dentro de los puntos tratados por la ley resaltamos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Definici\u00f3n de microseguro agr\u00edcola como una herramienta para mitigar el riesgo subyacente sobre cultivos representativos, asociado a variables clim\u00e1ticas.<\/li>\n<li>Peque\u00f1o productor para los efectos del microseguro agr\u00edcola, es aqu\u00e9l que desarrollando una actividad agr\u00edcola, tenga un patrimonio no superior a ciento cuarenta y cinco (145) salarios m\u00ednimos mensuales legales vigentes (SMMLV) teniendo en cuenta el de su c\u00f3nyuge (por v\u00ednculo de matrimonio) o compa\u00f1ero permanente (por uni\u00f3n libre), para la fecha equivalentes aproximadamente a 32.000 USD.<\/li>\n<li>EL microseguro debe tener como objeto el aseguramiento de riesgos asociados a la actividad agr\u00edcola, principalmente clim\u00e1ticos que afecten al menos en un 75% al cultivo respectivo.<\/li>\n<li>El valor asegurado por cultivo no podr\u00e1 superar los 20 SMMLV (4.300 USD Aprox.).<\/li>\n<li>El cultivo no podr\u00e1 superar las 5 hect\u00e1reas de extensi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>La prima para el microseguro agr\u00edcola no podr\u00e1 superar los 1.5 salarios m\u00ednimos diarios legales vigentes (SMDLV).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Esta norma busca proteger a las personas domiciliadas en \u00e1reas rurales, cuya \u00fanica fuente de ingresos es la producci\u00f3n artesanal de productos agr\u00edcolas en peque\u00f1as porciones de terreno. Esta poblaci\u00f3n, es especialmente propensa a sufrir p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas ante eventos clim\u00e1ticos, por lo que el microseguro agr\u00edcola resulta ideal para mejorar su calidad de vida y evitar que su proyecto productivo se trunque.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, representa una oportunidad para las entidades de microfinanzas, quienes en el mercado colombiano funcionan como canales de comercializaci\u00f3n de seguros, dentro de los que se cuenta el microseguro agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En l\u00ednea con la reciente iniciativa de Finagro de promover los microseguros voluntarios, el Congreso colombiano estudia medidas que incrementen el uso del microseguro agr\u00edcola por parte de peque\u00f1os productores agr\u00edcolas del pa\u00eds.
