Es el caso de los emprendedores de la Fundaci\u00f3n Microfinanzas BBVA (FMBBVA), para los que sacar adelante a sus familias y conseguir un futuro mejor para sus hijos es en muchas ocasiones el motor de su actividad.<\/p>\n<p>Conocedores de esta prioridad, y apostando por la Educaci\u00f3n como \u201cpuerta a las oportunidades\u201d, BBVA y Bancam\u00eda, entidad colombiana de la FMBBVA, pusieron en marcha en 2020, en medio de un panorama marcado por la pandemia, la<b> Beca Transformando Realidades<\/b>, una iniciativa que premia a hijos de microempresarios, clientes de Bancam\u00eda, costeando sus estudios universitarios.<\/p>\n<p>Cada becado obtiene el pago de sus semestres y una ayuda de manutenci\u00f3n mensual, por el tiempo que dure la carrera. Adem\u00e1s reciben un ordenador como herramienta de apoyo para sus estudios.<\/p>\n<p>La beca est\u00e1 dirigida a j\u00f3venes que han terminado el bachillerato o est\u00e1n cursando el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, que pueden optar a hacer realidad este sue\u00f1o y convertirse en profesionales, y en muchos casos en las primeras personas en sus familias en tener estudios superiores.<\/p>\n<p>En 2021, <b>cerca de 1.000 microempresarios\/as de 320 municipios colombianos presentaron las candidaturas de sus hijos<\/b>, un aumento de m\u00e1s de 60% respecto al a\u00f1o anterior. De ellos, el 72% fueron mujeres emprendedoras, el 81% se encuentran en condiciones de vulnerabilidad econ\u00f3mica, el 34% viven en zonas rurales y el 42% tienen educaci\u00f3n primaria a lo sumo.<\/p>\n<p>El ganador de esta edici\u00f3n fue <b>Sebasti\u00e1n Carre\u00f1o, de 17 a\u00f1os, <\/b>hijo de la microempresaria Yamile Pinz\u00f3n, de 34, que se dedica al cultivo del cacao y el aguacate. Este joven colombiano siempre tuvo claro que quer\u00eda estudiar, sin importarle las largas distancias que deb\u00eda recorrer desde la zona rural donde vive de El Vergel, en el municipio El Carmen de Chucur\u00ed, para llegar a su colegio.<\/p>\n<p>Sebasti\u00e1n ve ahora cumplido su sue\u00f1o de formarse en la universidad gracias a la beca Transformando Realidades de BBVA-Bancam\u00eda. Estudia Ingenier\u00eda Agr\u00f3noma con el objetivo de aprender c\u00f3mo trabajar la tierra y poder ense\u00f1ar tambi\u00e9n estos conocimientos en su comunidad.<\/p>\n<p>Junto a \u00e9l, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/hijos-de-emprendedores-colombianos-de-bajos-recursos-podran-ir-a-la-universidad-gracias-a-la-beca-transformando-realidades\/\">otros cuatro j\u00f3venes recibieron las becas<\/a> <b>de manos del presidente de BBVA, Carlos Torres Vila,<\/b> quien destac\u00f3 que \u201cla educaci\u00f3n es la puerta a las oportunidades, la clave en el avance de las personas y en el desarrollo de la sociedad. Es un motor de crecimiento y una fuerza para corregir las desigualdades que existen en nuestra sociedad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Un total de 10 j\u00f3venes ya estudian con estas becas, haciendo realidad sus ganas de prosperar gracias a su esfuerzo y el de sus padres, los verdaderos ganadores de esta oportunidad de futuro, que es a la vez un reconocimiento a su labor diaria como emprendedores para sacar adelante a sus familias.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El sue\u00f1o de todo padre o madre es que sus hijos tengan una vida mejor y alcancen logros que superen los suyos propios.
