La norma, sancionada en v\u00edsperas del D\u00eda Internacional contra el Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, crea el Programa Nacional \u201cReduce tu Huella\u201d en la Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1, alineando la estrategia nacional para el cumplimiento de los compromisos internacionales como signatario del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Programa \u201cReduce Tu Huella\u201d<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El programa tiene como objetivo llevar a cabo los procesos de la cuantificaci\u00f3n, gesti\u00f3n, reporte y registro de emisiones, y estar\u00e1 a cargo de la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Cambio Clim\u00e1tico del Ministerio de Ambiente. Entre sus principales componentes est\u00e1n:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema sostenible de inventarios\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El registro de emisiones y acciones de mitigaci\u00f3n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El registro de medios de implementaci\u00f3n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema nacional para el seguimiento y actualizaci\u00f3n de la estrategia nacional<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia Clim\u00e1tica<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La norma crea adem\u00e1s la Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia Clim\u00e1tica como mecanismo oficial para la gesti\u00f3n, monitoreo, reporte y registro de las iniciativas nacionales enfocadas en el fortalecimiento de la Contribuci\u00f3n Determinada a Nivel Nacional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo invita a empresas privadas y ONG a formar parte de la Declaratoria \u201cLas 50 Primeras Organizaciones Carbono-Neutro\u201d, quienes se comprometen a establecer una meta de Carbono Neutralidad hacia el 2050 limitando el aumento de la temperatura a 1.5\u00b0C, estableciendo los requisitos para adscripci\u00f3n y los beneficios por formar parte del programa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cabe destacar que Panam\u00e1 cumpli\u00f3 con el compromiso a diciembre de 2020 de presentar la actualizaci\u00f3n de la Contribuci\u00f3n Determinada a Nivel Nacional, aumentando los esfuerzos y medidas de mitigaci\u00f3n para la respuesta mundial de cambio clim\u00e1tico, el cual deber\u00e1 ser actualizado cada 5 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El pasado 20 de octubre se public\u00f3 el Decreto Ejecutivo No. 100 sobre la Mitigaci\u00f3n del Cambio Clim\u00e1tico Global.
