Asimismo, se destaca el impacto de los factores medioambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo (ESG<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) y expone c\u00f3mo las legislaciones de los distintos pa\u00edses han adoptado el principio de \u201ccumplir o explicar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En lo que a la situaci\u00f3n actual se refiere, incluye informaci\u00f3n sobre la estructura de los consejos de administraci\u00f3n de los pa\u00edses analizados, la separaci\u00f3n de funciones del presidente ejecutivo y del presidente, la independencia de sus miembros o la diversidad de g\u00e9nero considerando la representaci\u00f3n femenina seg\u00fan las cuotas exigidas, o los comit\u00e9s que las empresas han constituido bien por imperativo legal, bien de forma voluntaria.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"note\">\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn2\">[1]<\/a> World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref2\" name=\"_ftn2\">[2]<\/a> El informe expone los datos obtenidos entre julio y diciembre de 2018 relativos a 56 empresas de 12 pa\u00edses: Brasil, China, Francia, Alemania, Hong Kong, Jap\u00f3n, los Pa\u00edses Bajos,Singapur, Sud\u00e1frica, Tailandia, el Reino Unido y los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref3\" name=\"_ftn3\">[3]<\/a> Environmental, social and governance<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A finales de marzo el Consejo Empresarial Mundial para el Desarrollo Sostenible[1] public\u00f3 el informe \u201cThe state of corporate governance in the era of sustainability risks and opportunity\u201d en el que se analiza el papel del consejo de administraci\u00f3n en la creaci\u00f3n de valor sostenible a largo plazo.
