Adem\u00e1s la UE est\u00e1 financiando un programa hermano en 6 pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe: el programa Gana-Gana <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y est\u00e1 considerando replicarlo en Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tal y como afirma Federica Mogherini, \u00abla equidad de g\u00e9nero no es s\u00f3lo una cuesti\u00f3n de mujeres. Cuando la mitad de la poblaci\u00f3n no tienen las mismas oportunidades que la otra mitad, estamos poniendo un l\u00edmite a nuestro potencial colectivo. Todos estamos peor, no s\u00f3lo las mujeres.\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La igualdad de g\u00e9nero se ha convertido en una prioridad clave de las Naciones Unidas y del G7 para lograr un desarrollo sostenible, ya sea a trav\u00e9s del acceso a trabajo digno o a oportunidades de emprendimiento. Sin embargo el progreso a\u00fan es demasiado lento. Los gobiernos tienen la responsabilidad de eliminar las barreras que impiden el empoderamiento de la mujer pero necesitan del apoyo del sector privado, la sociedad civil y las comunidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este sentido, el sector privado puede abrazar los Principios de Empoderamiento de la Mujer de ONU Mujeres (en sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s, WEPs) y realizar una autoevaluaci\u00f3n online, gratuita y confidencial que ser\u00e1n una primera toma de conciencia y compromiso y marquen la hoja de ruta a seguir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con su programa WE EMPOWER, la \u00a0Uni\u00f3n Europea promover\u00e1 la adopci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n por parte del sector privado de los WEPs a lo largo de los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a\u00f1os as\u00ed como el intercambio de experiencias y mejores pr\u00e1cticas en el \u00e1mbito laboral (igualdad salarial por el mismo trabajo, conciliaci\u00f3n de la vida personal y laboral, cuidado infantil y de dependientes&#8230;) y el fortalecimiento de las asociaciones de emprendedoras europeas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pincha<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.empowerwomen.org\/es\/resources\/documents\/2018\/06\/womens-economic-empowerment-through-responsive-business-conduct-in-g7-countries?lang=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aqu\u00ed <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">para acceder al documento.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Uni\u00f3n Europea ha lanzado el programa WE EMPOWER a trav\u00e9s del c\u00f3digo de \u00a0negocios responsables en los pa\u00edses del G7 que desarrolla junto con ONU Mujeres y la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo (OIT).
