Este nuevo r\u00e9gimen moderniza los mecanismos para constituir, registrar, y ejecutar las garant\u00edas sobre bienes muebles, eliminando algunos rezagos de la normativa colombiana que prohib\u00edan que el acreedor pudiera apropiarse directamente de los bienes muebles de su deudor (\u201cpacto pignoraticio\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de los beneficios que se destacan en esta nueva normativa basada en la Ley de Garant\u00edas Mobiliarias Interamericana de la OEA y de las gu\u00edas legislativas de la UNCITRAL, se encuentra la centralizaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n en un solo registro administrado por la Confederaci\u00f3n de C\u00e1maras de Comercio, el cual no s\u00f3lo permitir\u00e1 registrar las garant\u00edas, sino tambi\u00e9n, conocer el estado de endeudamiento de los sujetos que constituyan tales \u00a0garant\u00edas, ofreciendo mayor informaci\u00f3n para los operadores del cr\u00e9dito y reduciendo as\u00ed los costos de acceso al cr\u00e9dito.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Al igual que Per\u00fa, Chile y Uruguay, en Colombia desde febrero de 2014 entr\u00f3 en vigencia el R\u00e9gimen de Garant\u00edas Mobiliarias a trav\u00e9s del cual se reforma integralmente el sistema de garant\u00edas sobre bienes muebles.
