This guide has been published jointly by the Excellence in Management Club, the Spanish Association of Social Responsibility Officers (DIRSE), For\u00e9tica, the UN Global Compact (Spanish Network) and SERES, the Responsible Society & Company Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The document analyzes two key goals that organizations must bear in mind: excellence in management and sustainability, furnishing the officers in charge of these areas with the keys to managing and integrating these concepts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The guidelines present the EFQM model (which started out in 1992 under the leadership of, and promoted by, the European Foundation for Quality Management), together with other corporate responsibility management models, such as the SGE 21 Standard, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), etc., so that it can be applied, in a straightforward, comprehensible way on a voluntary, non-regulatory basis by any organization, whatever its size or industry sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

The basis of the EFQM philosophy is that what cannot be measured cannot be improved. To enhance an organization’s competitiveness, it is necessary to know its position on the competitiveness spectrum and, from there, identify the changes and actions needed to make progress on the road to excellence in management.<\/span><\/p>\n

The model provides a framework which enables the organization to analyze its management and its roll out of actions to anticipate the changes in local and global environment, helping it to:<\/span><\/p>\n
