{"id":11020,"date":"2018-03-13T09:14:31","date_gmt":"2018-03-13T09:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/progresomicrofinanzas.org\/?p=11020\/"},"modified":"2018-03-21T09:48:29","modified_gmt":"2018-03-21T09:48:29","slug":"the-inclusive-development-index-davos-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/revistaprogreso\/en\/the-inclusive-development-index-davos-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"The Inclusive Development Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/revistaprogreso\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11020?print=pdf\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/revistaprogreso\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/pdf.png\" alt=\"image_pdf\" title=\"View PDF\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/revistaprogreso\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11020?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/revistaprogreso\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the occasion of the latest World Economic Forum (WEF) in January 22, the 2018 Inclusive Development Index (IDI) was published, measuring the level of growth and development in 103 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The index ranks countries by their current level of development on three vectors: growth &amp; development, inclusion and intergenerational equity. \u00a0It also considers a set of key performance indicators, including Gross Domestic Product.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The forum was convened under the tagline <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCreating a Shared future in a Fractured World\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and one of the most outstanding novelties in this year\u2019s IDI was its identification of 15 areas of economic policy that can contribute to greater growth at the same time as fostering social participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of the 29 advanced economies it analyses in 2018, Norway is the most inclusive country, followed by Iceland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The emerging economies that the IDI rates highest are Lithuania, Hungary, Latvia and Poland, which in the Latin-American countries, Panama is ranked sixth, while Uruguay and Chile hold the eighth and ninth place, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report on the IDI findings shows the importance of public-private partnerships in fostering a people-centred growth model that pivots around the domestic economic policy and international economic integration. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of the latest World Economic Forum (WEF) in January 22, the 2018 Inclusive Development Index (IDI) was published, measuring the level of growth and development in 103 countries.
