With this award, the Office of the First Lady of the Dominican Republic recognizes mothers who have been outstanding in terms of their dedication, training, solidarity and progress for their families and for society as a whole.<\/p>\n

The eight entrepreneurs from Banco ADOPEM chosen as \u201cMadre Ejemplar 2016\u201d<\/strong> received the award from C\u00e1ndida Montilla de Medina, First Lady of the Republic, who said that \u201cby choosing you as exemplary mothers, we hope to do justice symbolically to all Dominican mothers\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The bank’s award-winning entrepreneurs were Benedicta N\u00fa\u00f1ez Restituyo, de Duarte (San Francisco de Macor\u00eds); Jaqueline Dom\u00ednguez Tineo, de La Vega (Jarabacoa); Luz Olgarina Rojas Almonte, de Valverde (Mao); Juana Aquino, de San Pedro de Macor\u00eds; Carmen Santa Almonte, de Monse\u00f1or Nouel (Bonao); \u00c1ngela Almonte, de Hato Mayor (Sabana de la Mar); Julia Guerrero, de La Altagracia (Higuey) and Arelis Cortorreal Dilon\u00e9, de La Romana.<\/p>\n

The event, which also distinguished another 24 women, was attended by Banco ADOPEM’s prizewinning mothers and entrepreneurs in representation of the provinces in the Dominican Republic and the National District, accompanied by their families.<\/p>\n
