The BBVA Microfinance Foundation (BBVAMF) has taken part in the 2016 SPTF Annual Meeting, an annual event organized by the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) that brings together specialists in the microfinance sector.<\/p>\n

The city chosen this year was Marrakesh. \u201cWe don\u00b4t seek to prove our impact, but to analyze it in order to improve it\u201d, is part of the message conveyed by Stephanie Garc\u00eda Van Gool, from the Foundation\u00b4s Impact Measurement Department, who stressed that the aim of this analysis is to gain a better understanding of customers and their needs to adapt the institution\u00b4s activity to its social mission.<\/p>\n

Garc\u00eda Van Gool has presented the social measurement system of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation and the outcomes for 2015, giving special importance to measuring the progress of customers, at the presentation BBVAMF Group\u2019s impact assessment, a \u201cpull\u201d rather than a \u201cpush\u201d model in outcomes measurement.<\/em><\/p>\n

The BBVAMF, which since the inception of the SPTF has participated in the working groups, has been invited for its reputation in measuring outcomes to take part in the panel discussion Case Study Discussions: Measuring and Reporting Client Outcomes.<\/em> The Foundation\u00b4s work had already been recognized previously for its transparency and good governance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
