Banco ADOPEM has been recognized for being a transparent company with a commitment to social responsibility by the Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX). Banco ADOPEM maintains its score of five diamonds for its management in 2014.<\/p>\n
MIX is a benchmark institution in analyzing and measuring financial and social performance indicators in the microfinance sector. It is also the principal source of objective information on organizations in the international microfinance sector.<\/p>\n
The ratings agency congratulated ADOPEM for its undertaking to be socially transparent and responsible, after the \u201cdesk review\u201d of its social performance, and verified that the bank had successfully fulfilled all the S.T.A.R. requirements (Socially Transparent and Responsible) in 2014.<\/p>\n
The indicators assessed include the definition and monitoring of social targets for financial institutions such as job creation and the companies financed, in addition to the responsible treatment of their customers. The MIX assessment also indicates that the company has met its aims of designing products, services, channels and delivery models tailored to the needs of its customers, and maintains a policy of raising awareness of environmental issues.<\/p>\n
The award received by Banco ADOPEM is also based on the assessment of its corporate policy on human resources in terms of benefits, protection at work, equality and the ongoing training of staff at the national and international level, among other incentives of a responsible nature for employees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
