{"id":23998,"date":"2019-02-21T13:30:12","date_gmt":"2019-02-21T12:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/conectados-los-emprendedores-clic\/"},"modified":"2019-02-26T13:23:48","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T12:23:48","slug":"conectados-los-emprendedores-clic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/conectados-los-emprendedores-clic\/","title":{"rendered":"Just a click away from entrepreneurs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWe continue working for the future of entrepreneurs, in our determination to design services that contribute to their development, and in facilitating their interaction with our institution.\u201d With these words the recently launched \u201cVirtual Office\u201d was presented by Miguel \u00c1ngel Charria, Executive President of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/entidades\/bancamia\/\">Bancam\u00eda<\/a>, the Colombian institution in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/\">BBVA Microfinance Foundation.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This service channel is a turning point for microentrepreneurs served by the MFI, of whom 80% live under vulnerable conditions. Before the Virtual Office, clients were forced to travel to the nearest branch to pay off their loans, get bank statements and make transfers, among other transactions. <strong>Personally visiting the bank meant incurring in transport expenses but above all, the opportunity cost implicit in having to set their activities aside<\/strong> (business, workshop, crops, etc).
