{"id":14043,"date":"2017-12-13T16:29:13","date_gmt":"2017-12-13T15:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/?p=14043"},"modified":"2017-12-28T14:49:01","modified_gmt":"2017-12-28T13:49:01","slug":"the-bbbvamf-in-the-presentation-of-the-uns-business-and-sdg-16-contributing-to-peaceful-just-and-inclusive-societies-report-launch-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/en\/the-bbbvamf-in-the-presentation-of-the-uns-business-and-sdg-16-contributing-to-peaceful-just-and-inclusive-societies-report-launch-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"The BBBVAMF, in the presentation of the UN\u2019s \u201cBusiness and SDG 16: Contributing to peaceful, just and inclusive societies\u201d report launch in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The report entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdgfund.org\/business-and-SDG16\" target=\"_blank\">Business and SDG 16: Contributing to peaceful, just and inclusive societies<\/a> is published by the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals Fund (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdgfund.org\/business-and-SDG16\" target=\"_blank\">SDG Fund<\/a>) with the collaboration of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and support from McDermott Will &amp; Emery LLP.<\/p>\n<p>The report examines how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionmicrofinanzasbbva.org\/ods-16-paz-justicia-e-instituciones-solidas\/\">SDG 16<\/a> (peace, justice and strong institutions) offers a perspective on the private sector\u2019s role in reaching this Goal,\u00a0as well as\u00a0the relationship between peace and the development agenda. It includes case studies from the private institutions who are members of the SDG Fund\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdgfund.org\/sdg-fund-private-sector-advisory-group\" target=\"_blank\">Private Sector Advisory Group<\/a>, who work to promote access to justice and consolidation of peace.<\/p>\n<p>The BBVA Microfinance Foundation is part of this Advisory Group, composed of leaders stewarding important private institutions from different sectors around the globe.
