The EduFin Summit 2017 is the key event in financial education worldwide, attended by experts in financial education and capabilities.
At this annual meeting, professionals from the fields of financial education, academics and researchers, representatives from governmental bodies and the public sector, together with regulators, will debate the importance of financial skillsets to people’s welfare. The latest trends and innovations in the sector, financial education and behavioral economics, success stories and financial education in the digital era will be showcased, together with a range of national strategies and impact measurement.
The event is organized by BBVA’s Center for Financial Education and Capability, a virtual platform that promotes financial skills and abilities through research, dissemination and action-directed learning. Claudio González-Vega, Chairman of BBVA Microfinance Foundation’s Board of Trustees, will be taking part as a member of this Center’s advisory council. In 2016 BBVAMF provided training and upskilling to 353,868 vulnerable entrepreneurs.
